Enter any of the most frequent letters (a, n, i, h, o, r, t, e, s) by simply tapping anywhere on its key. Since the keys are larger, it's much easier to target and tap these keys. 71% of times you'll be doing just that.

Enter any of the less frequent letters (q, u, p, b, j, d, g, c, q) by simply dragging from anywhere on the center key (O key) toward one of eight directions shown by that letter. For example, to enter "u" drag up from anywhere on the center key.

Enter any of the less frequent letters (v, l, x, m, f, w, y, k, y) by dragging from anywhere on the its key toward the center key. For example, to enter "v" drag down-right from anywhere on the top-left key.

Dear Garmin iQue user, Thank you for downloading MessagEaseST for Garmin iQue! MessagEase technology is in widespread use among PDA users and is currently available for Palms, Pocket PCs, and Tablet PCs. We are confident that with a little bit of patience and perseverance you'll see the advantages of using MessagEase in entering full text faster than any other technology for small mobile devices. MessagEase is the only cross platform technology, is it is applicable to cell phones and TV remote controllers as well as PDAs, Tablets and wearable computers. *1. Install MessagEaseST and the Graffiti Skin: HotSync and install everything in the folder: "InstallTheseOnYourIQUE" Double click on files or drag and move them to your Palm Quick Install window. 2. Perform a soft reset This is necessary to trick switch your iQue's Graffiti skin. 3. Activate MessagEase! Tap on MessagEase button! You are Done! Go to any application and input text using your MessagEase keyboard.** *You must have a Garmin iQue with Rev 3.0 updates (or better). Earlier versions will not work with our skin! Installing Letters-on-Right Keyboard: Bu default, you install a MessagEase keyboard with letters on left (ANI-123). But if you wish, you can change that to a keyboard with letters on right (123-ANI) by installing the file in the folder: LettersOnRIghtSkin(123-ANI). Before you install this new file, you need to follow the procedures for removing the other skin. See below!After you install this file, remember to perform a soft reset and then "Configure" to tell MessagEaseST that your are using a letters-on-right keyboard.
Installing Blue keyboard If you prefer you can install the Blue keyboard, instead of our default Gray/Black. To do this, just remove the current PINMgr.prc file in use and install either of the files in the folder BlueSkins. You can either install the default letters-on-left keyboard, or install the letters-on-right keyboard. If you install the latter, you also need to tell MEST that you are doing so by setting the keyboard to 123-ANI in "configure". Please Note: To REMOVE MessagEase from your iQue: Run MessagEase and select Graffiti, then "Done". Delete file PINMgr.prc from your device. Follow the instructions below: Perform a soft reset. Deleting PINMgr.prc in use: Use Filez (get it from PalmGear) Mcfile, or a similar file management tool and find the file PinMgr.PRC in RAM and Delete it. (If you can't delete that file, do the following with Filez: select the file PINMgr.prc present in RAM and click the details button. Change the creator (PINM) to xxxx or anything else. Click reset or using the reset pin even if you get a fatal error. Go to Filez again and delete the file PINMgr.prc from RAM.

Enter special characters by dragging on their position on the number or letter keys. Drag from anywhere on its key toward the direction shown by that special character. For example, to enter "(" drag left from anywhere on the 4 or H key. Or, to enter "@" drag down-left from anywhere on the 6 or R key.
